About
Orshi McNaughton
Independent reporter and host following the race to reverse functional aging — with a personal stake in what the science delivers for midlife and beyond.
The work
Chronicling the healthspan frontier
I host The Age Reversal Project, an independent show following the scientists, teams, and trials working to reverse functional aging — including the $101 million XPRIZE Healthspan competition through 2030.
The focus is claims versus evidence: what has to be true, what would falsify an approach, and whether the results will apply as widely as the headlines suggest. Women’s biology is a recurring lens, not the entire subject.
I’m approaching longevity science from midlife, when the difference between lifespan and healthspan becomes increasingly tangible. That shapes how I ask questions — without turning the show into a protocol feed.
Before focusing on longevity media and reporting, I spent more than a decade building and operating health, fitness, and wellness businesses, producing the Women’s Biohacking Conference, and interviewing researchers, founders, and practitioners working at the edge of human performance and healthy aging.
